- The Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) has received a Grant from the African Development Fund (AfDB) hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Sierra Leone Agribusiness and Rice value Chain Support Project (SLARiS), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the supply and delivery of vehicles and motorcycles for the Project Implementing Unit (PMU) and its Implementing partners (IPs). For this contract, the SLARiS shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.
