Request for Expression of InterestScope of ServicesThe Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), intends to pre-qualify a group of organizations in a timely manner, and potentially solicit proposals from them shortly thereafter.The services/outputs being sourced are: Since 1978, FAO has been operational in Sierra Leone. Throughout this period, it has carried out many interventions in the food and agricultural sector that have helped, to a large extent, alleviate hunger, food security, improve rural population's livelihood, and to improve agricultural practices. FAO continues to be an important provider of technical support to Government of Sierra Leone and strong collaborator with other UN agencies, NGOs, civil society, and rural communities with a focus on eliminating hunger, improving food security and achieving sustainable agriculture through improved farming methods and protection of the environment.
